I initially hired Rick to design a new business card for me that reflected my interior design business, but was so happy with the results that I employed him to create a web site to incorporate the new look he'd designed for me. Rick is a very talented designer with a broad and deep background in graphic design, and has a very creative and organized approach with the sole interest of helping his clients realize their web site in way that is visually pleasing and appealing to a wide audience. He is very patient and offers many options to make this happen successfully. He is also very tenacious in finding exactly the right back ground, font style and layouts to work his magic for each web page. I believe that his passion to develop a client's brand and keep it consistent on all pieces of marketing and communications is a smart approach to achieving a consistent look. I have worked with DiLoreto Design on a couple projects and found the service exceptional. There are a lot of "designers" out there, but few provide the added value marketing consultation service essential in producing affective marketing materials both print and web for branding, conference planning, special events or business development intitiatives. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check work samples done for prior clients to see if they can accommodate different styles and different client's interpretations of what they need and like. Also talk to the designer on the phone to make sure you can communicate well and you get a good sense of trust and that they will be engaged and attentive.
