- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When Tony was a small west michigan kid raised on a family owned dairy farm he knew that he wanted to be in the building industry. His folks even commented several times that he would become a builder. From the time he was able to work on the farm he was always constucting some kind of craft or helping construct or repair the barns on the farm. He would ask if he could work with his uncle almost daily. He got the oppurtunity as a teenager and has never thought of doing anything else.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do a large variety of projects,we will start with new homes constucted,additions we do alot of siding,kitchens,baths,decks,roofs,painting, we do all types of sidings including,shake,hardy board,azac.We are up to date on manufactures install requirements to ensure you recieve there warranty if needed.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework on your contractors. Check license,ask for references,even check the BBB on any complaints and end results. Pick proven and time tested contractors. Ask to see current and past projects, try not to hire contractors that are part time. Coughlins has done daily contracting for over twenty consecutive years.
