- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is a little different depending the type of photography you're looking for. I have detailed information that can be found on my websites under the "Investment" tab.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The simple answer is my son. I've always been more of a creative. When my son was born I was on a very tight budget and ended up taking him to JCPenney's for his photos (newborn, 3month and 6month). It was at this point that I realized I had still ended up spending a grand and on images that were horrendous. I decided to try my hand at it. I fell in love. It took a good 3 years to really hone my craft and now 7 years later, I'm still very much in love with photography. I feel very blessed to be able to share it with others.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
While budget is important, look for quality and a style that suits you first and foremost. I did not do so myself when my son was born, and it is still a sad regret of mine, and largely why I got into this business. Don't be afraid to plan ahead and save up for the one whose work you just love if you have to. These are most likely important memories you're preserving, being thrifty could hurt looking back.
