Hired Travis to paint the new house I just bought while we were still living in our other one (7 hours away). Even let him sleep there on the days he worked since the house was vacant for the two months it took him to paint the house and he lived far away. (I didn’t expect him to take that long either unfortunately). It was stressful updating a home while not being local so I relied on photos and texting to make sure things were being done and k came down to check on things a couple times for a day or two period. Well we moved in last week and I am extremely disappointed in the work that was done to my home. None of the tops or bottoms of the interior doors were painted on top of needing touch ups on several of them, the downstairs living spaces needs to be re-rolled in almost every room in spots, all the trim through the house (floors and around doors) needs another coat, the living room wall needs re rolled, the window sills need to be re painted and there’s also paint on them where there shouldn’t be paint, there were paint splatters on the new floors that got installed while he was here as well, all around the windows need caulking since it appears it was just painted over, the holes that he filled are extremely noticeable through the entire house. Overall, very disappointed in the painting part. He did change out outlets and switches for me as well which was great but I didn’t realize until he requested the payment how much it was going to cost me and after it was already done. I guess I should’ve asked so that’s on me because I wouldn’t have done it. I also didn’t realize I was paying to have 20+ extra outlets that I have no use for either. For the amount he was paid and the time he spent here, k expected much better.

Jordan, I apologize if anything was below the high standard of work that I strive to provide. I understand the frustration of the amount of time the project took; but also take into account that I was not at the house 24/7. I had to wait on some other contractors for portions of their work to be completed too, as well as a large additional amount of work added to the scope. I explained the extra hardware before placing the order and you okay'd it. I also explained that I had to do 4 coats even with the higher end Sherwinn which is very abnormal, but I did not charge you for the extra time and labor. The trim all got 2-3 coats as well. Tops and Bottoms of doors do not get painted for the same reason flooring doesn't actually go wall to wall- to account for expansion and contraction with weather changes. We had agreed upon a later date to take care of touchups or issues that you might have had, please feel free to reach out if that is still how you want to proceed; otherwise thank you for your review.

Had Travis paint the interior of a large historic property, repainting an older less professional job with some challenging dark colors to go over. He did great! Place looks better than it ever has. Was a in constant communication with me the entire time.
