What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My name is Teri McNea, owner and ordained minister of TLM Creative Services - Weddings. I would be honored to officiate your wedding and create a ceremony personalized for the two of you.
My fees are simple: $175 for the wedding ceremony and $100 for the rehearsal, which involves its own preparation and coordination. I keep my pricing competitive because I understand how quickly other wedding costs, such as the venue and reception, can add up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a couple is considering multiple officiants, I invite them to interview me first. I want them to choose my services because they connect with my personality, not simply because my pricing is competitive.
After I am hired, I schedule a Meet & Greet video call so we can get acquainted. This time is valuable because it helps me personalize my services for the couple.
As the planning continues, we schedule follow-up video calls to review the first draft of the ceremony and discuss any changes the couple would like to make.
About a week before the wedding, we schedule a final video call to review all the details of the ceremony and make sure everyone is aligned on the plan and timeline. This helps ensure the wedding day goes off without a hitch.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always wanted to serve others. After retiring, I felt called to do more. Since I had previously officiated weddings for a couple of friends, I realized this work was a meaningful way to continue helping people.
