Hired on Thumbtack

We had an issue with water leaking through the floor of our duplex basement. What we had initially thought was just a crack that needed repair turned out to be a bigger issue with our foundation. We also really needed to get it fixed quickly. Cole Concrete communicated promptly with us and were able to do the job on short notice, which was very important to us to have it fixed right away. We are very satisfied with the work that they completed on the foundation of our duplex.

Since this was my first time using Thumbtack, Inc. I was a little taken back by all of a sudden having the names of several contractors provided to me. I chose to start by contacting two of them. Cole Concrete promptly set a time and date and the second contractor would only give me a 30 minute heads up prior to his arrival. I was impressed that Cole Concrete accommodated my schedule so that we could both meet and go over the work that needed to be done. So determined that he drove in a freezing rain ice storm with a weather advisory alert to make the appointment. By the end of that same day, I had a bid in hand with an acceptable price. We hired Cole Concrete to install a driveway, walkway and patio and couldn’t be happier. Dylan and his crew were great! Hard workers and very personable. We were also very impressed by their attention to detail. Our project turned out even better then we imagined and plan to have them back to replace our steps very soon.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am ACI Certified finisher in the state of Michigan for concrete, and I have been to a number of concrete shows, and classes to further my education in this line of work.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family has been in the concrete trade as for back as the 1920s, with me being a fourth generation, you could say "its in my blood."
