I found April when she was just getting started in coordinating, and from the very first time I sat down with her I couldn't believe she was new to it because she was so organized and confident. Right away after our first meeting I felt so much stress melt away, and every meeting after that it was like all of the built up stress that accumulated was gone. She is so sweet and so easy to talk to and work with, she was by far one of the best additions to my wedding crew. I didn't have to worry about any of the vendors on my wedding day, she handled it all and kept my massive (20 people) bridal party organized. So yes, April is amazing and I 100% say for your sake, just hire her

April!!! She was the best decision I made (besides agreeing to marry my husband!). I am a very organized person, but I still needed someone on the day of my wedding. Ladies, the last thing you want to do is worry about timing, set up, little details, contacting vendors, and so much more. April does all of that for you! She even offered to bring me coffee the morning of my wedding, call me to wake me up, and check in to my hotel for me! She goes above and beyond for her brides! I couldn't ask for a better coordinator! She got along super well with my husband as well! It was nice for us to just "do what April says" for the day! I told my friends and family that I was taking my brain and giving it to April the day of the wedding so I didn't have to worry about anything. All I had to do was relax and soak up every moment! I hired April to be my day of coordinator for my June wedding and it was easily one of the best decisions I made.I'm from Chicago so planning a wedding in Michigan was a little tough. Not only was April helpful leading up to the wedding, but also day of. She was always responsive and helped me by providing me with some of her vendor referrals when I was in search of vendors. For example, I was 2-3 weeks away from my wedding and I still didn't have a florist. Not only did she provide me with some of her referrals, she also went in person and Facetime'd me so that I can see the arrangements in advance without having to make another trip to Michigan.What really makes April stand out was how she handled all of the curve balls thrown her way on my wedding day. It rained... no it down poured most of the morning, which required us to change our ceremony plans. The weather also added other challenges, but April handled everything with the utmost professionalism and remained calm and collected. She checked in on me throughout the day, made sure we had everything we needed (including picking up some additional umbrellas for us), managed all of the vendors, etc. And although the weather was creating some chaos at the venue, she kept it all under control so well, that I had no idea until AFTER the ceremony!A really good day of coordinator alleviates stress for the bride and ensures that all the bride has to do the day of her wedding is show up and enjoy her wedding. And that is exactly what April did for me!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer 2 different Day of Coordination Packages starting at $1,500 I offer Partial Planning and Full Planning. I am willing to customize packages based off of your needs. *Travel Fees may apply depending on distance and will be expensed at the GSA rate of .70/mile *For venues outside of 150 miles from Hudsonville, MI applicable lodging and per diem rates as maintained by the United States General Services Administration will be applied.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
April likes to start with a consultation to get to know the couple and what they're looking for an what their stress points are. She will then will send over a google spreadsheet with a Wedding Checklist to help with the planning process. Then we take our communication cues from our clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After years as a corporate facilities coordinator, April brought her Type-A precision to that first wedding and earned rave reviews from every vendor in the room.
