Hired James to drywall, mudd and sand our basement/laundry room. Price was reasonable and was done in 1 week. Also was up front, has a good attitude and not hesitant on asking questions or letting us know things that he needed us to do so he could complete his job accurately.

There were many things that could have been better on this project. He came back but the problem still was not fixed.

When I started this project from the first day it wasn't ready for me. This was a very small job and when I came in and did the whole job in a couple days, the electricians was still doing work, put holes in the drywall had a sheet down cause a fan needed put in and I had completed this job and they wanted me to come back after they were done and go back over what they damaged. My policy is all extra work has to go thru a change order and a additional work order filled out and agreed upon. I work for some of the largest builders and have many references that will state I'm one of the best. So please when you hire anyone make sure your completly ready. All his employees say every job is like that one. Unorganized.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. Charge by the square foot. On smaller jobs I'll charge a flat fee. Typically .25 to hang and depends on ceiling height. .35 to finish. If texture .40, Painting varies to .70 to 1.00
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Set up a appt. Walk the job with them. Go over every detail an provide a fixed rate estimate
