Josephine was an amazing dance instructor! She worked with us just one month prior to our wedding to teach us a beautiful first dance. She was super nice, accommodating and talented. She was patient with our beginner pace and taught us only what made us feel comfortable and confident. You wont be disappointed!

We have been very fortunate to work with Josephine when she was teaching at Cinema Ballroom in St Paul Minnesota between 2019 to 2021. She was a young teacher who was very pleasant to work with and kept me and my husband engaged in learning how to dance. As both my husband and I were retired, we were seeking activities to learn dancing as a way to keep our body in shape aside from working out in the health clubs. Little did we know until now that working out in the gym provides a good way to increase our endurance and strength. But little did we know that dancing provides body shapes and balancing which is very important for us to keep a healthy life! Josephine we missed you!Best wishes to your new business in Detroit! Jo is AMAZING!!! She helped create a beautiful dance both with my husband and dad! We did probably 4 lessons or so in the studio and people still talk about our first dance.I came to Josephine with a vision of my daddy-daughter dance. My dad and I wanted something serious, but wanted to break off into milkshake by Kelis because it was our song when I was a kid! We told her what somgs we wanted, she made the mix, the coreagraphy and made us feel so confident for our big moment together!My husband and I wanted to soak in the moments of our first dance, so Jo showed us some moves to add in between our swaying to make it look like we knew what we were doing!I cant recommend her enough, she is truly amazing and helped to create my all time favorite memories!

As a total beginner, I was paired with Josephine as my instructor for a celebrity dance fundraiser. It was an amazing experience! Not only is she incredibly talented, but genuinely personable and patient- always keeping it fun as we worked on basic steps and our entire routines. She made a dancer out of me, and our performances went very well! I would highly recommend her for aspiring students of any age or ability.
