Mitzi is a talented teacher with students of all ages. Not only is she an accomplished player herself, she is very methodical in helping students learn how to play and enjoy their instrument. Highly recommend!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lesson pricing is based on the lesson length, frequency, and format. You will always know the rate and what is included before scheduling. Any package options, materials, cancellation policies, or additional fees will be explained clearly in advance. My goal is to keep pricing straightforward so we can focus on learning and making music.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by talking about the student’s experience, musical interests, goals, and preferred learning style. The first lesson gives us an opportunity to get comfortable, assess the student’s current level, and identify a helpful starting point. From there, I create a personalized path that balances fundamentals, meaningful progress, and music the student is excited to play. Expectations and practice recommendations are always clear, realistic, and encouraging.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My musical training includes a degree in Music Education from Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, and over 30 years of teaching. I continue to develop my approach as both a musician and teacher, with particular attention to healthy technique, musical understanding, confidence, and adapting instruction to the individual student.
