FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a voice teacher, make sure you find someone who understands how the voice works. Many teachers are good musicians, but not vocal technicians. A good teacher should be able to let you know what each exercise is training your body/brain to do. Also, make sure those exercises are leading to a good technique. Your range should expand in two directions: lower and higher. Your ultimate goal should be a uniform approach (thus, a uniform sound) for your full range. A technique that requires you to "change gears" can work for the short term, but cause injury or health concerns over time.
