I was overpriced for a job not well performed. My experience was horrible, my stress level was high because I was doing all the work and providing all the documentation with no successful outcome Instead of helping me out with my divorce case that took to long to come to a closure. I could have represented myself in court or hired a lawyer for $500 and came out with better results. My advice it to choose a lawyer that is willing to work with you instead of plotting with the opposing party lawyer to get the case over with. Hire a lawyer who is very professional with sincereness of her/his cases and not be texting or being on face book on the phone. All cases are not easy regardless if it involves children. If you have time to seek a good lawyer by all means do so and not let it be Judy Coleman from the Coleman Justice Center.Jul 10, 2017The Coleman Justice Center's reply
I am very sorry to hear about your experience. If you would like to discuss this with me I would be more than happy too. I would not mind discussing a refund either. As you can see I am a 5 star lawyer on here and never want anyone to be dissatisfied. Judy
I recently spoke with them about handling my divorce. After explaining my circumstances over the phone, they agreed to take my case and to come in to get things started. Upon arriving for my appointment I was told they would not take the case for reasons I had already told them about over the phone. Apparently my time isn't important to them. I would never call or recommend them in the futureJul 2, 2018VerifiedThe Coleman Justice Center's reply
Donald, we cannot take cases without getting paid. We work hard to give people fair prices but we have to charge something. Judy
The worst experience for a divorce, unprofessional, never responded to phone calls, names and dates were wrong.Feb 21, 2017VerifiedThe Coleman Justice Center's reply
Hello Mirralle: I am sorry you were dissatisfied. Remember that you signed a retainer agreement and asked me to rush the preparation of your divorce and I called extra staff in over Christmas because you were so concerned about filing quickly. In fact, we had your divorce ready in a week and we had to call YOU to ask whether you were going to come in and review the rough draft of the paperwork that you informed us that you did not intend to file. It is unfortunate that this happened and I am sorry that you did not understand that once we did work for you we could not refund anything but that was in our written agreement. As to not returning phone calls, you were told numerous times that we could not refund the minimum amount you paid and you continued to call and ask for it. As or names or dates being wrong, that was the point of us asking you to come in and review the documents. It was only a working rough draft for you to see. In terms of being unprofessional, I felt I had an ethical responsibility to tell you that I knew your boss personally in case that was an issue with you. You said that it was not. In the interest of making you happier, if you would like, come back in and we can give you and your husband and discount on other services we provide such as estate planning. Judy

Family Law Attorney
My wife and I found Judy to be an extremely intelligent, capable, and ethical lawyer. She advised us and made our legal experience less traumatic even though her area of expertise is outside our legal problem. While we eventually found a lawyer that had the proper expertise, Judy's help before we got the appropriate lawyer was invaluable. If we ever need legal assistance in probate, wills, or trusts, I will be contacting her again. I highly recommend.May 8, 2017VerifiedThe Coleman Justice Center's reply
