Introduction: I am an experienced AHA BLS instructor. And a state of Michigan EMS instructor. I provide training for Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (non-healthcare) and BLS for health care providers. I have been in the emergency field for 24 years as an active Paramedic and Firefighter. I brought 13 employees from Shinola Detroit headquarters where I am the Facility Manager. Lieutenant Gladieux welcomed each and every one of us to the class individually and introduced himself. Each team of 2, had their own Adult Manikins, which we each took turns, finding pulse, method of measuring the chest to place our fists and begin performing CPR compression's. We also applied our Phillips Heart Start AED Pads and followed the AED process to completion. We discussed and improved our in house process, from diagnoses, and delegating tasks for assistance, calling 911, performing CPR and using AED and expediting EMS through our doors to the patient as quick as possible. Followed by infant CPR. Furthermore, we practiced exercising the Heimlich Maneuver on Adults and infant, along with discussing the history. Lieutenant Gladieux encouraged and motivated my team to jump into the training with his hands on approach, and to ask basic to advanced questions which he answered completely. Every single one of us felt comfortable during the training and confident at the end.

Once a client accepts the service, contact will be made. I will work out the needs and other details with you. I will work with you to come up with a date that will best fit your needs.
