- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this type of work by learning hands-on and working alongside experienced painters, which helped me build a strong foundation in proper prep, techniques, and attention to detail. Over time, I began taking on my own projects and focused on delivering high-quality results and great customer service. As I gained more experience and consistent results, I decided to turn it into my own business. Now I take pride in every project I do, making sure the work is done right the first time and that the customer is fully satisfied.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent project I’m especially proud of was a full interior repaint of a multi-room home, including walls, ceilings, trim, and minor drywall repairs. The space had a lot of wear and tear, so prep work was key—patching, sanding, and making sure every surface was smooth before applying paint. The project took about 3 days to complete with a small crew. We focused on clean lines, even coverage, and leaving the home spotless when we finished. The final result completely refreshed the space and gave it a modern, clean look, and the customer was extremely happy with the transformation.
