Introduction: As an Arabic instructor, I have done the following:
* Conducted a small comprehension test at the end of each reading session to improve comprehension skills
* Established a connection among students in groups to speak on topics individually and controversially
* Taught grammar according to syllabus and curriculum to build the structure of language for learners
* Improved writing and speaking powers, fluency in speaking with proper pronunciation, and accent
* Provided students with study skill strategies that helped them study more efficiently in language classes
* Helped students understand Arabic concepts to further build their confidence in reading and writing
* Immersed students in the language by speaking, writing, and reading, and encouraged them to do the same
* Taught conversational Arabic to foreign students
* Prepared and exposed students to Arabic literature
* Assisted students by teaching or reviewing Arabic grammar
* Provided students being tutored with reading strategies that helps them be successful in classes that have a high concentration of reading
* Led classroom instruction in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the Arabic language curriculum
* Created learning plan activities, assessed student progress, and met with parents about students' progress
