Introduction: My years of study and industry experience have given me the knowledge about numerous genres of music. I understand the ways that people learn and utilize these skills in every lesson I teach. I don't just stick you in front of a book with a metronome; I cater what I teach to where you want to go. I want you to play as much as possible as soon as possible. Teaching music is as rewarding for the teacher as it is for the student. When I see a student reach their goals and grow musically, I feel deeply satisfied that I was able to be a part of the process.

Great work by Mike. Sat and talked about what my goals were as a guitar player and put a plan to accomplish it. Very open to ideas and main thing is that he listened. Easy going but has the knowledge to help me get to the next level.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My studio lessons- $30 per half hour $40 per 45 mins $50 per hour In-home lesson rates: $40 per half hour $50 per 45 mins $60 per hour monthly rates available, can be cash, check, PayPal, square, venmo.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first lesson will be us getting to know one another a bit and getting the new student playing. We will start wherever the student is, discuss goals, learn about their personal musical preferences, and create a loose road map for the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading articles, watching videos, and learning from my own mistakes as a performer. I am currently working to become an educator in the public schools at Eastern Michigan University as well.
