This guy is a joke. I hired him, paid his deposit on Wednesday of last week. Got the approval for the Fence on Thursday. I did reach out to him to tell him he could start (because the only reason I hired him was because he could start right away and I didn’t want to wait 4-6 weeks) He did ask if he could do one other job before starting mine and I said yes. He did two jobs which delayed my start time because he had to finish after I got the approval. He then had his truck breakdown on Friday when he was supposed to start so we didn’t start until Saturday, which he showed up late after saying he would be here at eight, showed up at 10 (after going probably scam some other person) took two hours to offload materials. Dug a few holes and then started complaining because the ground was too hard. Used my water to pour into the holes to make it softer, which worked however, came back on Sunday late at 10 or 9 AM when he said he would be there at eight and immediately said that he would prefer to come back on Monday with a new machine because the ground was still so hard. At that point, I told him if he cannot finish by Monday we would be having a different conversation. He did stay on Sunday to try finished but still left early after digging a few more holes. He put up about six or seven panels and then came back on Monday with his new machine late again at 10 AM, dug 1/3 of the holes and put up four more panels and left all the garbage in a pile around the yard. Left the fence post and panels on the grass and then did not show up at all today to do anything. I did text him at noon which he read and chose not to respond to, after taking $12,500 of my money to buy supplies. This is ridiculous. He also spent the entire of Saturday and Sunday and part of Monday sitting on my patio instead of helping the one guy who was here on Saturday and the two guys who were here on Sunday and Monday. I would never hire this man for anything ever again in the future so now I have to try to get my money back to get someone else to finish the job that he could not finish. If I were those guys I wouldn’t work for him either.

Why would I not finish, and on top of that with all these little digs you keep throwing at me. I waited almost 3 hours for confirmation yesterday I messaged you at 11:47 on where the holes were going to be on the south end of the property due to a drain line issue you messaged me back at like 2:30pm I’m at the point now where it makes me feel at this point when I do finish you are not going to pay me when we are done. I'm very sorry that the job isn't being done as quick as you would like. However at the same time right now I have close to 8,000 in labor and material. I literally took 500.00 out of my own pocket to rent a machine that I was not going to ad to the remaining balance to try and make the job go quicker and because neither me or you knew what's in the ground with this hard clay even the mini skid steer was having issues we literally spent 8 hours yesterday to do 15 holes. And at this time I feel you are not happy. You have not been happy since day one. I waited two weeks for you on your end. Not your fault granted but we have ran in to some problems and you're not happy that the fence is not done. The message you sent me today are you done. Then not even 10mins go by your asking for 2/3s of a refund. At that point tells me you had no plan on paying me the remaining balance at the end of the job.
