FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Competitive pricing always in line with current drywall finishing prices from competitors, I like to visit larger projects to give any estimate, if its a small project or small addition I can usually quote a price over the phone based on room sizes. If its an old house with uneven studs then sheetrocking might take longer than a new house. I do charge a small travel fee if I have to travel more than a half hour. Another thing to note is that if the ceiling height is more than 8 feet than prices increase as there is more sheetrock obviously to put in and more finishing work because it creates extra joints to tape and mud. Every job is different and its best that I hear about the specifics of it over the phone to give a realistic estimate. Call or leave a message here to start an estimate for your project, thanks! Sheetrock prices have increased slightly from a few years ago on the cost of panels from suppliers. Rates have increased new rates are $1.65 per sq foot to Tape mud and sand existing installed sheetrock. $1.52 per sq foot to install sheetrock, including delivery of rock but not purchasing the rock itself
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
*********************************************** and get an idea of room sizes and ceiling heights and if any spray texture is wanted or if there is popcorn ceiling to remove etc. to *************************** for any job. ***********************************************, *************************************************************************** Many smaller projects can be bid on for free over the phone if you have room dimensions and ceiling height or if its small patching jobs.
