About
My clients tell me I am easy to work with and they appreciate knowing that if they get distracted planning other parts of the wedding that I will be there to remind them to complete their tasks on their script, vows and other segments of the actual ceremony. Every wedding is unique and so I offer suggestions, based on experience, for how to handle the unique situations that the bride and groom might be faced with such as blended families, for instance. Being a speech writer in my past profession, I am also able to offer the writing of vows and other segments of the ceremony when necessary. Everyone is always happy at weddings. They are strictly happy events, full of excitement and energy. I get to meet some great people and visit interesting venues that I would otherwise not have an opportunity to see.

Deana was great! She was easy to work with, extremely nice, punctual, and really made the ceremony run smoothly. We came from out of state, so we didn't get to meet her in person until the rehearsal the night before the wedding. She helped get everyone organized and it transitioned perfectly on the wedding day. The pre-ceremony may have been a little chaotic, but she was a professional and had no issues officiating the wedding at all. The whole ceremony went off without a hitch. She spoke gracefully and had no issues with pronunciation of our names or anything else. We definitely recommend Deana for anyone undecided about choosing an officiant!

Highly Recommend. Leading up to my wedding Deana was very quick to respond and provided guidance and all the necessary documentation needed for the ceremony. Deana went over and beyond making this process easy and comfortable for my Husband and I. During our wedding Deana showed up on time and was ready to go upon arrival. She was very well spoken and officiated the ceremony in a clear, professional, and organized fashion. Using Thumbtack for the first time I felt a little reserved to hire someone (I have never met) to play such an important role, but Deana completely diminished this insecurity. I truly couldn't have asked for anyone to have done a better job. THANK YOU Deana!

Deana was our wedding chaplain at the Hope Chapel in Shelby Twp., MI last Saturday-- June 14, 2014. She was absolutely AMAZING! She got to know us (bride & groom) and our family before the ceremony and created personalized wedding vows. They were spot-on and heart-warming. She is so articulate and well-spoken. I will always remember her kind words during the wedding. Most wedding ceremonies are cookie cutter...not Deana. She is top-of-the-line. If you want a special ceremony that people will rave about, Deana is an EXCEPTIONAL wedding officiant! George & I can't thank you enough...you are the best!!

Deana was nothing short of amazing! She was professional, flexible, and very kind. Before the wedding, she drove out to meet me and my husband and sent us scripts to review/select. We ended up going with an altered version of one of her scripts, and she rolled with it. She was prompt to our pre-wedding meetup, rehearsals, and the ceremony. She explained everything in full detail. The experience could not have gone better!
