Dear Future Client,
Thank you in advance for taking the time to learn a bit more about me - your investment in your future, your education, your work, and/or your personal development is not something I take lightly, and I hope you will find this introduction worthwhile.
I proudly earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Michigan State University's College of Education, where I specialized in Deaf Education and prioritized my teaching major of Language Arts, graduating with Honors.
Since then, it has been my privilege to work both as a private tutor and with multiple educational institutions spanning various countries and continents.
Furthermore, I find great joy in editing the personal and professional works of my clients, helping them to find beauty in the essence of their expression, as well as to refine the technical aspects of their pieces. I have done this since I myself was in elementary school (a classmate offered me his draft of a fantasy novel to mark up with red pen, and the excitement of such a moment has yet to fade).
I am eager to work with you!

I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service provided by Alexandra Tailored Tutoring! As a parent, there's no greater investment than helping my child achieve their academic goals, and Alexandra exceeded all expectations.
She worked wonders with my son's college essay, expertly drawing out his unique voice and personality. Her patience, understanding, and tailored approach were instrumental in helping him craft a truly standout essay.
What impressed me most was Alexandra's ability to understand my son's writing style and help him showcase his strengths. She took the time to get to know him and his writing, and it paid off in the final product.
I wholeheartedly recommend Alexandra to anyone seeking a college essay coach who truly cares about their students' success. Her expertise, dedication, and passion for helping students shine make her an invaluable resource.
Five stars isn't enough – Alexandra deserves a glowing recommendation! 🤩

Alexandra is a word magician! She really helped to take my book to a whole new level. She gave me such great ideas for wording that I hadn’t even considers. She is also amazing with poetry and rhyming which I find to be such a unique trait. I plan to continue working with her in the future, I couldn’t have had a better experience. Many thanks!

I am the founder and president of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association Houston Chapter, and hired Alexandra to do some copy editing for me.
I would hire her again, and would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for editing help - especially for any last minute turnarounds. She reworked the entire document within 24 hours.
What I sent to her and what returned to me was "night and day"! It was a thousand times better than it was when I sent it and worth more than what she charged me for it.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Writing/Editing documents are always processed through Google Docs - you have a running record, even if you are not present and can verify the time spent and work completed; pricing per hour is calculated this way.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step is to identify the customer's goals, and then to work with the customer to identify the time commitment and amount of work required to reach those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's in Special Education and a teaching major of Language Arts from Michigan State University
Test Prep instructor for The Princeton Review/Score Plus Academy from 2011-2017
Elementary teacher from 2017-2019
Private tutor for test prep, homework help, and essay writing/editing since 2011
