A restoration of a "woody" is like bringing back an old piece of furniture (with an engine) to its initial luster. I take a lot of pride in knowing what the final result of the restoration has to be.
I love knowing that I have the ability to restore whatever component is included in the restoration, or I know where to go to get that component restored -- that means the person who is actually doing that work and not someone in between.
