FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly reading up on the latest developments in our business as well as attending seminars and special training programs designed to keep us current with process changes and equipment upgrades thus allowing us to provide excellent service and production quality.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Media blasting is about 70 percent of our business and much of that business is the sand blasting of automotive parts, patio furniture and tractor components. Items most commonly powder coated are automotive parts, commercial equipment and machinery.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A local man wanted to have the bicycle his son rode when he was little, restored. The bike is a Stingray style that was made in W. Germany and very little information was available to us. We coated the frame in a to two-tone using contrasting green metallic colors, coated the wheels and other chrome items in "black chrome" and the finishing touch was restoring the name plate located on the front of the fork. Even though it was partly destroyed, we were able to find an example of it on the Internet and have a local graphics company recreate it in a transfer that was installed over the original backing plate. The result was a very handsome and unique bicycle that will be on display at the owners garage.
