About

I have many years of classical piano training to use in teaching your child. This includes piano studies at Michigan State University under Ralph Votapek and Yong Hi Moon. I continued my studies with concert artists in the metro Detroit area: Pauline Martin and Stephen Vaglica. I also am an active church pianist. I really have fun with younger students. We play the "chocolate game" after lessons. They ALL love it! I enjoy teaching people about music, how to read music and interpret the score. I enjoy watching someone develop his or her talent. I am located in Macomb County in Ray Township, which is east of Romeo. I am near 30 Mile Road and Romeo Plank.

My son is very comfortable working with Ruth. He has already learned a lot and it his helping him with his school band class as well. She has a beautiful comfortable set up for lessons.
