Kevin arrived promptly and wasted no time getting straight to work. He took special care with my valuable and breakable items, all while working extremely efficiently. A job that I had budgeted 4 hours for ended up taking almost half that amount of time. He made a move that I was dreading turn out to be not so terrible after all! I was extremely impressed with Kevin’s work ethic and skill and definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others or hire him again in the future.

They showed on time and helped me move things out of my apartment and up the stairs into another. They worked non stop and even took apart and reassembled some pieces . I was very impressed with the effort and professionalism . Would recommend !

Self Made Movers did a great job for me today. I had them move the heaviest items in my house (large sleeper sofa) and trickiest (IKEA bed). They took them apart, moved them, put them back together efficiently and well. Kevin & his crew were very professional, & polite. They worked hard, and smart, continuously. He squeezed me into his schedule for a Sat afternoon, and then called on Friday when he had a cancellation. I appreciated all of those things. VERY reasonable rates. I had a couple of smaller moves. I needed some file cabinets moved from one location to another and a king mattress that needed to be taken to a third location. I was convinced I needed to "do-it-myself" cause it wouldn't be worth the cost to hire a mover. At the same time, I kept putting it off. I thought I would give Thumbtack a try just to see what kind of quotes I would get. Best move I have made in a long time!! Kevin and Self Made Movers gave me a good quote. After talking with him, he even adjusted the job and the price to provide even more value. He was doing the move within two days. Like all the other reviews said, his team was professional, on time, did a great job in moving my items, and never made me feel like it was a small job that didn't matter much to him. I would use Self Made Movers again without hesitation. I know a lot of the reviews were for large moves that I'm sure they do well. However, keep Kevin's team in mind for those smaller jobs as well. It was a quality job at a very reasonable price just to get it done. I wish I had known about them sooner.

Kevin and Ernest did a great job and were courteous and friendly. They took good care of my piano and moved it quickly and efficiently even under the snowy conditions. I highly recommend them.
