Introduction: Our property managers are experienced real estate attorneys who have been practicing law and managing properties for landlords in Redford and Southeastern Michigan for over 30 years. We use this wealth of knowledge and experience to make your life easier. After many years of doing this as part of our law practice, we decided to form Halo Real Estate Management Co., LLC in 2012. We advertise your vacant properties on dozens of rental websites across the web. Once your property is rented, we draft the lease and provide your tenant with required notices and forms. Once your tenant has moved in, we collect the rent and handle maintenance issues. We contract with vendors to perform the necessary maintenance, and you pay only the actual fees of the vendors for their services. We do not mark up their fees for contracting maintenance services as some other property management companies do. We have relationships with numerous contractors and service providers to perform any work your property may need to keep it in good repair and in compliance with local building and rental codes. If rent is not paid on time, we send timely and proper notice to the tenant. If it becomes necessary to take the tenant to court, our property managers are real estate attorneys, Keenan & Austin, P.C., who provide landlord/tenant legal services (from rent collection issues to evictions) at a reduced rate for our owners. As rent is collected for your property, we disburse it to you, less our management fee and any expenses for that month, such as maintenance costs, attorney fees, insurance premiums, etc. The result for you is worry-free investment property ownership.
