- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Brainiac In-Home Tutoring offers transparent pricing with no enrollment fees or long-term contracts. Rates vary based on the type of tutoring (standard academic support vs. standardized test preparation). When necessary, tutoring may cover more than one core academic subject at no additional charge. We also contact teachers with written permission. Discounts may be available for multiple tutees and monthly package options.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a complimentary online consultation, free session, and/or a baseline assessment to review academic needs, goals, and any IEP or credit recovery considerations. Based on this information, we recommend a tutoring plan and match the tutee with a qualified professional tutor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Brainiac In-Home Tutoring works with a team of qualified professional tutors who hold degrees and/or certifications in education and their subject areas. Our tutors include licensed educators, experienced academic professionals, and subject-matter experts with training in instructional strategies, intervention, and individualized learning support, including IEP-aligned instruction and credit recovery.
