For the past 10 years I have trained dogs professionally and successfully in service dog work, taught obedience classes and dealt with reactive dogs. I understand that everyone has their own individual ways of learning including dogs and their owners. My goal is for you to get the dog YOU want. I come to you, explain what the heck your dog is trying to tell you with its "bad" behavior, teach them how to learn and then show you how to get it under control while working together as owner and human 😜 I teach my clients how to "speak" dog, how to work willingly with your dog and how to have fun with your dog... like taking a walk in a beautiful downtown or on one of our awesome trails. Heck, want help teaching your dog how to swim or ride on your paddle board? I can teach you guys that too. Things I specialize in: Teaching humans how to provide basic grooming care for their dogs. Please let me show you how to brush your doodle and teach it to hold still so we can prevent doodles with bad haircuts. REACTIVITY!- give me all of the barking lunging dogs. Senior dog enrichment- no dog is too old for fun and learning. Small dog manners matter- they should learn just as much as the big dogs do. Service dogs- PTSD and mobility. "Cleaning up" past training and doing more handler focused follow up. some trainers are good at training dogs but not people, which is what it is. we all have our strengths.
