FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
More projects within the same time frame / and / or trip save money and time, rather than getting done only the minimum, however every job is different and there are many variables. Generally a service call/troubleshooting trip costs $ 95-125. If we are already working within few miles of a Thumbtack request, a basic service call can cost $ 65.00. Keep in mind that in general a technician may travel about 45 min to get at the job, around 30 min to find / diagnose and in many cases it will fix the problem, getting tools and testers ready, by the time the repair is done about 2-3 hours are gone.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working in electrical projects since I was 14 yrs old. My dad and uncles exposed me to construction work starting at 12 yrs old and by the time I ended my teenage years, that's when I found my gift for electric work and got myself into the path of education and investing so I can be the best electrician that God has gifted me to be. Of course I grew by taking all the necessary classes, education, licences and requirements, and even now as a Master Electrician I still learn and get educated about the new choices and techniques for electrical efficiency.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential, Commercial, and Industrial fields are all aspects of our work. My company deals with: homeowners, business owners, property managers, office supervisors, general contractors, Builders and other Tradesmen, Foreman and plant managers, Store owners and managers, architects and CEO, real estate developers and investors, Landlords and Tenants, and other individuals that handle the electric supervision and make purchasing decisions. When we are hired in a job we are there to serve, to make the project work, and not dictate, or become an obstacle, therefore it's in the interest of all involved to get along and finish the project within the intended time frame.
