Aimee was my make-up artist for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier! She actually did my friend's makeup for her wedding 7 years ago, and I already knew back then that when I got married, I wanted her to do my make up too! She is so professional and is really passionate about her job. She was punctual the day of the wedding and kept on track with the schedule I had given her for all of the bridesmaids and myself. She kept me so at ease and had such a calm personality...it actually made me more relaxed the morning of my wedding! I'm a super picky person about my make up because I always have an idea of exactly what look I'm going for. But, she nailed it! I would highly recommend Aimee for bridal make up or for any kind of event in general. She also did my make up for my engagement party and bridal shower. :) I can't wait to get my make up done for another event because I'm definitely calling her again!!

I've been trusting my brows to Aimee exclusively for the past seven years--she's the best! And when I have an event, I book early to be sure she's available to do my makeup. She makes me look beautiful and I always receive compliments. I'm always a bit sad to have to wash my face at the end of the night!

FAQs

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since I was in Highschool, I loved playing with makeup and color. Also, the skin is a very interesting subject to me, and I think learning more about it can only help me become more skilled and knowledgeable with my clients. Another aspect of why I love this line of work is I am a natural teacher. I love helping others become better at something, or giving them confidence.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I am also a great eyebrow artist. I trim, tweeze and sometimes wax (but not always) I think a full, well shaped eyebrow makes a tremendous difference on a woman's face, and I have become very passionate about eyebrows and their purpose.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think punctuality is very important because it can affect the whole timing of a very important day. If you hire a makeup artist, they should be very consistent and conscientious of being on time. That builds trust 100%.
