I contacted Aspect as I needed a real estate agent and management company to purchase and manage investment properties in Detroit. I was initially contacted and explained what I needed and that I wished to purchase 2 or 3 properties. I do not know whether I was not a big enough fish, but I did not have any further contact from them. Not even to say, no, they were not interested. Anthea, We apologize that you were not treated correctly. Aspect Properties sells to individual owners on a daily basis. We just received a list of Detroit area homes from one of our sources, if you are still interested in them. I would be glad to send them to you, and to be your main source of contact. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Property management pricing is usually determined on many factors. Rents, area are important for single family homes. Size of the building, number of units, etc, are items we need to know to give a proper quote to you. Companies that offer set rates tend not to do their homework, which hurts you in the long run.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?All Real Estate professionals in Michigan must complete 6 hours of continuing education yearly.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been working in property management since I was 19 years old. It is a business that offers an ever changing daily routine. The stories can be amazing and tenants can make you laugh or cry, but they are always interesting.
