- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is determined by the size and complexity of the project. Typical estimates are broken down into three categories : excavation and/or tear out, price per square foot based on size, and reinforcement. Additional elements like borders and steps are also bid as "extras" if present.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I set up a time with the customer to come out to the job location. At that time I like to get a feel from the customer as to the design, size and location of the concrete. I then work up an estimate which I send to the customer, along with the patterns and colors we offer, and showroom information where they can view the different options as a poured sample.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have twenty years in the concrete business. I attend various trade classes and read trade publications on a monthly basis to further my education on new products and to help refine our proven processes.
