They reached out immediately and scheduled the removal of some built-in shelving and did a good job removing them with only expected damage where they were attached to the walls. Afterwards he cleaned up the room nicely and took away the wood. Recommend highly.

Hired on Thumbtack
Jonathon and his team completed several projects around my house. They took their time with small projects (tearing out carpet on my basement steps) as well larger projects (adding a privacy fence to my deck and repairing trim on the exterior). Jonathon was consistent in his communication and was offered an affordable rate. I will definitely hire Jonathon and his team for future projects!

Johnathan is fantastic! He has done several things for us now, and was able to fix a screen door that everybody else says was unfixable! He is fine with our dog being around, he is extremely punctual and responsive. He made several trips to the hardware store to make sure our air conditioner fit perfectly and even flashed the window because it previously was not. Highly recommend!!

Jonathan was very responsive and helpful in planning the work. He and his partner arrived when they said they would and did a nice job cleaning up after the project. I would definitely hire them again!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally I can work with customers on either an hourly basis or by quote although certain jobs I will only do one or the other depending on certain job specifics. If I have to supply materials I generally will mark them up between 10% and 25% depending on how much time and expense is required for me to obtain them. Customers who wish to save some money can do so by providing me with the materials needed to complete the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working construction management for the majority of the last 7 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been hands on and have always enjoyed building things and problem solving. I grew up on a farm which was an ideal environment for cultivating these abilities. After I got my drivers license I started working for a local contractor and continued to work for various contractors while going to collage and in the years that followed. Over time my level of management continued to grow and in 2017 my commitments due to my position in the company were such that they were taking away from my family so at the season I left and took on another management position with a smaller company. After a full season there I realized that If I was going to stay in construction I would need to be working for myself so I could balance work and family and still make a decent living. I left my then current job and jumped right into working for myself. That first step was a leap of faith. It was a little unnerving stepping into an unknown but I have been blessed with more than enough work to provide for the needs of my family.
