My company stands out because we put the owner and tenant first. We act as a buffer for owners so they don't have to worry about their most important investment a house. We ensure tenants are taken care of and ensure they are happy. I like providing a service that has not always been done right in Detroit. I've only been doing business with PMI for a couple of weeks but thus far I am very pleased, they are very professional and courteous. Unlike another company I contacted, they wanted to met me in person and walk the property before asking me to sign the agreement or paying them any money. When I met with the property manager in person and she reviewed all the details of the services and the agreement. They had a team go in and clean the property and had showings scheduled a couple of days after listing.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I kind of happened into it after renting my own home years ago. I have been in the Army Reserves for 29 years and the stories soldiers can tell about property managers is amazing I thought I could do better. That is why I became an officer in the Army I had a better chance of making a difference.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We place tenants and get the best rental price for the property. We help decide what the client needs to do to get a tenant and how to keep them in the house after that.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say make sure you look at their history. Look at their current tenants and talk to a few of them. Make sure you can call the property manager most don't answer their phone.
