I could only pick three things I liked about Dark30: work quality, value, and responsiveness. However, I would also choose professionalism and punctuality.
Within an hour of looking for an electrician to install new electrical service for a living room light, Dark30 replied. We were able to schedule the job, and I was given an estimated price.
Dark30 showed up as scheduled and communicated his arrival time. Once the job was complete, the cost was on the low end of the estimate; no surprises!
Everything was installed with quality craftsmanship.

We needed one ceiling fan re-installed and a second one swapped out for a new one. The fan that needed to be re-installed had fallen and apparently was slightly damaged when it fell. Nick was able to repair it and re-hang it to our complete satisfaction. The fan that was swapped out for a new one looks great, too. We would not hesitate to hire Nick again and offer our wholehearted recommendation.

Nick worked on, and had the part for, an old Federal Pacific Electric Company fuse box that no other electrician wanted to deal with or had the part for. Although the part definitely needed replacing, Nick's expertise found the actual electrical problem. I would highly recommend Nick. He came through when no one else wanted to be bothered.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge a flat rate to do a requested job. The only time I will charge by the hour is when the job is something like troubleshooting, repairing an appliance or in some occurrences, certain types of emergency job requests.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Reassuring them of what we intend to do in order to fulfill their request of work to be done. Sometimes a job may require the client to sign a proposal or work contract agreement with a set payment agreement, other times we usually collect full payment at end of job. All parts supplied by us comes with a warranty of 1 year with exception to hot tub motors and hot tub heaters.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always seeking classes and or programs to further my licensing and knowledge in the skilled trades that I perform services for. I also take any knowledge learned and hand it down to my employees so we are all on the same page.
