Introduction: I recently had a national artist client that has recorded in major studios ask me why I'm not living in a mansion and driving a Maserati yet. I wasn't really sure how to answer his question and was confused to why he was asking. His response was because I work equally as well as some of the larger name engineers he has had the pleasure of working with and I am as professional, quick, and efficient as they are without sacrificing any quality. I felt very honored to be thought of at that same level by a musician that I respected and will continue to practice my same working habits! I love that I always get to have the creative juices flowing. Every project I have the pleasure of working with is different and I love being able to throw out new ideas to keep it unique and help bring it to the next level.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of our day to day work at Ocean Recording Studio is spent recording, mixing, and mastering albums for artists and striving to get the best out of each individual that steps foot through the door.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Follow your ears and not just your eyes when choosing the place to record your next masterpiece. Don't choose a studio just because of the name, location, 48 different guitar cabs they have, or the national artists they have worked with. Sometimes those places can be great, and sometimes they are exactly the opposite if you aren't on that national level. Although I have been thankful enough to work with some national artists, I make sure to treat every client at that same level and respect their art. I put my heart into each project (local or national) as if it were my own. Just ask all of my returning clients. That's why they keep coming back. - Justin Rogers
