- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You get one written price for the finished job before we start, and that is the number you pay. No day rates, no hourly clock, no hidden fees after the machine is unloaded. Land clearing is priced by area, brush density and terrain, so you can see exactly why your number is what it is. Junk removal, outbuilding demolition and cleanouts are quoted from a few photos, usually with no visit needed. Quotes are free. Multi acre parcels and multi address portfolios are priced as one project or individually as desired. Recurring property maintenance runs on a flat monthly rate, so you know what the whole season costs before it starts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a call, a text, or 3 or 4 phone photos: the access, the worst of the growth, and anything you want kept. From those we can often price the job without a visit, or we set up a walk through if you would rather meet on the ground. On the walk we tape the trees that stay and flag anything buried, so the plan is settled before the machine ever starts. You get a written scope: what gets cleared, what stays, what the finished ground looks like, the price, and the date. Then we show up on that date and do exactly that. Most residential jobs are done in a day. For junk removal and cleanouts, photos are usually all we need to give you a number and a pickup day. When the work is finished, we walk it together, and you decide it is done before we leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The crew has more than 30 years running forestry and construction equipment across Southeast Michigan. That time is what tells us which trees to keep, how to work a wet lot without rutting it, and when frozen ground is the right time for a job. The crew is OSHA trained, and our company is licensed and insured.
