About
I have a degree in Human/child development which helps me to understand the physical and emotional stages of Human learning. You need a Teacher who is also a Pianist to help you to teach your hands to play. I have 30 years of experience. I love seeing the progress. When the light bulb goes on for a student it gives me a real feeling of accomplishment.

Caren is an amazing teacher. She has helped me immensely with theory and technique. She is very patient, and she inspires me to work hard. I love the fact that she makes me feel like we are discovering things together during each lesson. I am confident that I will be getting my money's worth each time I walk in for a lesson with her. She has really reignited my love of playing the piano!

Ms. Worel is an outstanding teacher: kind, patient, knowledgeable, fun and great with kids. Our son has learned so much with her - not only about playing the piano, but about musictheory too. His progress on the instrument has been amazing to watch. We'd sent him to other piano/music classes in the past, but none of them delivered the results that Ms. Worel has - she really has a gift for teaching music.

I had the opportunity to have Caren as my piano instructor for 8 years. Every lesson I was challenged to improve myself as a piano player. She's passionate about what she does and is very knowledgable. Overall, she is a phenomenal teacher who makes learning the piano fun!

I took piano lessons from Caren for almost 10 years! I always loved our piano recitals, but my favorite was creating a compilation of Christmas songs and having the best teacher help me put it all together and perform for friends and family. I still play this compilation today! She has become so much more that my piano teacher, she's my friend too!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belonged to a professional teacher's group and participated in student testing for piano. I am studying to become a certified music theory teacher.
