Krumrie gave us a $40,000 "time and materials" estimate to complete our home remodeling project. By the time we'd paid him that amount our roof was still off! We had to pay him more to put the roof back on, then kicked him off the job and took him to court. We then had to hire another contractor to finish the job, and we won the civil suit against Krumrie. The final cost was $140,000. The Court said it was the contractor's job to know what the final cost of a project is. Get a CONCISE contract. Do not accept "time and materials". The work is good, but slow, and definitely not worth the money or anguish. Krumrie's work cost us dearly.

David, is thorough and accurate in his estimates and excellent in his work. Subcontractor estimates can be off requiring additional funds for a project. He always makes sure you are satisfied with the final product or project..

I have an old home and numerous challenges. They came out to fix my back door going out onto a deck. A previous carpenter came and tried to take short cuts that almost ruined my new door. Krumrie construction saved me money by utilizing what was already present, and incorporating it into the correct way of fixing the door. They went above and beyond, and now I'm complemented on that doorway whenever someone comes over. I will use them for all of my renovation needs in the future.

I purchased a 105 year old home, knowing that much work would be needed to bring up to code. Together, we discussed important repairs to be done first. I was told and understood, there are some jobs, you don't know the seriousness of the repair, until its started. David kept me informed of all issues, so I could decide how to proceed. We will and are continuing to use Krumrie Construction for all my repairs.

Advice that we would offer is to make sure that the person that you are hiring is licensed. We wouldn't want just any person that can swing a hammer coming into our home, we wouldn't expect anyone else to do that either.
