Wow! Hired for installation of all new interior doors. I figured it was going to be a difficult job to complete due to the odd shapes of the doors and it being an older home. They got the job done in 2 hours and the end result is excellent!!! Super impressed and well worth it!

Let me first say that I have made many unsuccessful attempts in providing Juliano the opportunity to fix several issues as a result of their poor workmanship and business ethics. There are far too many quality issues to go in to regarding our Stair/Landing/Railing/Posts remodeling project, but I would at least like to inform other potential customers what to be aware of so know what you are getting into when you contract with E&XH: 1. They will do as little work as possible leaving responsibilities to others. Examples include, failing to communicate that I would be responsible for removal of the debris from the demo; a common phrase is "the painters will take care of that" in filling excessing gaps with wood filler/caulking; sanding of flooring boards to smooth out uneven edges; lastly, telling me that I can reglue balusters and clean the glue residue they have left behind. 2. They do not respect your home. They heap a pile of tools and materials in the middle of the hallway when they finish for the day, which is usually a 3-4 hour work day. I also picked up over 25 cigarette butts in my driveway and on my lawn as it seems that putting them in a pop can or garbage can is too much of an inconvenience. 3. They tell you what you want to hear but do whatever they want. Examples: They drilled the baluster holes too deep into the stringer caps and I pointed out that they need ensure the balusters do not fall from the rails and they maintain a uniform appearance across the top rail. Juliano said they use "$16 a tube adhesive and that will never happen". I now have ~10 iron balusters that have dropped about an inch along with a few shoes they installed on flat surfaces that are designed for the angled stringer. His response when I called him out on it was "I thought they looked close enough", further insisting that the counts were not provided correctly by the provider of the materials rather than getting the correct shoe and installing at a later date. In summary, spell out everything in writing with these guys and hold back $$ until you have thoroughly inspected their work (they are notorious for having their truck loaded and engine started when they tell you to take a look, that they are finished with a phase). I would also never recommend them for upper scale homes.... they may be able to hang doors but they are not quality finished carpenters.
