Calligraphic Art by Scott Wettlaufer

I produce original woodcuts, as well as original watercolor paintings interlaced with calligraphy. The watercolors are mostly abstract which lend themselves very well for combination with text. I am a calligrapher of 35 years, a watercolorist of 10 years, and a printmaker of 5 years. When my calligraphy is combined with my printmaking, people think that the letters have been printed also. The vibrant colors in my watercolor paintings attract the eye and stir the soul. I combine letter and image for unique art pieces.
