I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for Rachel's hard work. To find an attorney who truly cared about my well-being was astounding. I was facing up to 5 years in jail for a felony charge. I had just bought a house, had recently started my career, and had just gained full custody of my daughter. All of this was on the line, and Rachel made it a personal priority to make sure I didn't lose what I had worked so hard for. And how do I know she truly cared? Here's an example: when the judge was willing to drop my jail time from 5 years to 30 days, not even that was good enough for Rachel. She literally stopped court, ran out of the courtroom and up three flights of stairs (while pregnant!) to the head prosecutor's office, pleaded my case, was able to have the felony dropped to a misdemeanor, and turn 30 days in jail into only 3. I didn't have to miss too much work (money to pay the bills), I kept my job (my career was over if I had a felony on my record), I kept my house, and I kept my daughter. Rachel single-handedly saved me from a potential downwards spiral that would have ruined my life. I owe it all to her! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not have a complicated pricing system. We offer flat-rate fees. Criminal Legal Services allows payments by payment plan. The standard payment plan consists of three affordable installments before each court appearance, usually occurring monthly. That amount will be paid over the course of your court case to fit your needs. There is no additional cost to pay by credit card or by payment plan. The total cost will not increase or change simply because a client chooses to pay by payment plan. We also provide other types of financing options and payment plans to fit most budgets.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay up to date with all the changes in the law. As an attorney being educated is the biggest aid in being successful.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a passion for the law and I knew I could make a difference in people's lives.
