I work to use unique products to create a customized look, unlike traditional bouquets. I use foliage from our woods and find as many organic pieces as I can. I work with both local growers and warehouses to achieve the exact design my clients are looking for. I came from the world of a professional mental health therapist, flowers were my own therapy. My business kept growing, and I finally made the switch to quit the office grind a pursue a creative passion and dream job.

Lauren was just incredible! Her flowers were so beautiful and she was so great to work with. Everything she did was beautiful, but I especially loved my flower crown and the garland we used on the reception tables. On my wedding day the baker delivered the wrong cake. Seriously, this cake was the opposite of what I wanted and was so ugly. Lauren and our location manager got the baker to come back and re-ice the cake. Lauren then decorate it with flowers and made an ugly cake into an absolutely beautiful cake. She helped save the day. She was very affordable, much better priced then a lot of the other florists I spoke too and was great to work with!

Lauren saved my wedding. Really, she did. Lauren stepped up to the plate and hit a home run with little direction from a very particular bride. She is a wealth of knowledge and insight for all things wedding - not just floral design. Lauren truly went above and beyond with suggestions and ideas that no other floral designer had even come close to. My asks were a little unconventional at times but Lauren was able to completely understand the ideas floating in my head and help make them a reality. She not only created, arranged, and table styled all of my centerpieces, she created additional floral pieces to decorate our arbor, a large garland to decorate our arbor, a very large bouquet for me, gorgeous bouquets for my bridesmaids, unconventional greenery bouts for the guys, and a floral collar for our dog! She also took the time to help decorate my cake once the baker arrived on site AND "fixed" an arrangement my mother had commissioned from a florist in town. Did I mention she also helped the band get set up and saved me from family members "needing" things while I was getting ready. Talk about a life saver! Every other vendor I had at my wedding (including my photographer who handles a lot of larger Chicago weddings) said that Lauren's work and selections were some of the most gorgeous they had ever seen. One of my other vendors is actually in talks to hire Lauren for her own wedding next year! I was hesitant at first due to me never using Thumbtack before (Lauren was my first!) but I don't think I can ever top the joy and amazing work that Lauren did for our wedding.

Lauren did amazing as my wedding florist. She took the time to get to know exactly what style I was looking for and went above and beyond with it. I was blown away when it came to wedding day! I would highly suggest Lauren for your event. She will work with you through the whole process. She is also flexible with any changes that may need to be made.

NA -- Flower pricing varies seasonally and with what is popular. Additionally, client's needs are vastly different making each event unique and the pricing can not be standardized.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we develop a design plan and scheme. Next, we finalize the quote and contract agreements. Lastly, I work to achieve the look you're going after with as little of stress on the bride as possible!
