FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Change is constant, and in design, if you're not staying on top of current trends, software, marketing and advertising, than you're not offering your clients the best solutions. I continue to educate myself on design, software, techniques and programming.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided in high school that I wanted to use my artistic ability to promote and sell. I was enamored with the idea of branding and identity. I also became aware at an early age that good advertising made us feel emotion. I thought that was cool! I wanted to have that effect on people.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For a person looking to hire a designer or photographer, I'd advise them to do their research before hiring this person. Get online and look at 4-5 different design websites. Compare and contrast the work, pricing, and other information. Then, contact 1-2 of them and see which one you think you'll work best with. You'll be interacting with this person through the course of the project; pick someone creative and friendly. It'll make the process fun and enjoyable!
