I have tuned pianos in homes, churches, schools, and concert venues for over 28 years. I thoroughly inspect the piano for any needed repairs, regulations, voicing, or re-stringing. I use the most advanced technology on the market - an electronic Sanderson Accutuner IV that allows me to precisely tune your piano to 440Hz (radio frequency) in about one hour. Peter was so wonderful and informative about my piano! Not only was he a joy to have in my home, but he was a joy to learn from as well. He will tell you exactly whats going on with your piano and how he's going to fix it! My piano plays better than it ever has and I have some plans to repair some parts that I didn't even know were an issue. He is to the point and you never feel like he's running you around. I wouldn't have anyone else treat my precious instrument!

He came ahead of schedule after obtaining permission. He was quick and efficient. He explained everything he did and answered questions. He pointed out how prior problems were resolved and showed their solutions to me. He pointed out another problem and asked whether we would want to correct now and at what cost, or leave it until next time. He was pleasant to work with. He cleaned up and left the piano cleaner than he found it. He left contact info and a recommended schedule for regular piano tuneups. it was GREAT!!

Mr. Chojnacki was everything we hoped for and more. He is deeply knowledgeable and experienced. He was very familiar with our type of piano, a Kawai Baby Grand. He was professional, efficient and very friendly and affable to work with. We asked his advice about another older piano and he offered excellent advice. He was a bit more expensive than other tuners, but we felt he was well worth it to benefit from his expertise. We give him our highest recommendation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I explain the procedure of A-440 tuning as well as gradual tuning and if I find any additional repairs and/or reguations. You don't have to remember to call for the next appointment, I will do that for you. I can also let you know what year your piano was made!
