I have tuned pianos in homes, churches, schools, and concert venues for over 28 years. I thoroughly inspect the piano for any needed repairs, regulations, voicing, or re-stringing. Peter was great! Prompt, even called me when he had an unexpected opening to fit in my piano tuning earlier than originally thought. I got a 1957 Acrosonic Baldwin Spinet, notoriously hard to tune and get sounding good. Piano sounds absolutely gorgeous now, and he even came with a book of serial numbers so we could age the piano and find the exact model. Top notch professional.

Peter was absolutely amazing from the very second I reached out on Thumbtack. I told my Mother “I think I just found our guy!” I sent a message through the app and Peter literally responded in less than a minute at 11:30p at night. We wanted to get my 93 year old Mother’s piano tuned for Christmas and were not sure if there would be time with the holiday less than a week away. Peter asked if I was still up and if I wished to be contacted right away to which I replied “yes” and my phone rang immediately. Wow! Talk about responsiveness! He squeezed us into a very busy schedule and was timely, professional and an absolute joy to get to know! He came to tune a piano and to check to see if it needed any repairs, but left as a friend! What a joyful heart and an incredible life story as we got to know him during his time with us. We could have just let him tune the piano but his background is so intriguing that we would have missed out on so much if we didn’t ask. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I explain the procedure of A-440 tuning as well as gradual tuning and if I find any additional repairs and/or reguations. You don't have to remember to call for the next appointment, I will do that for you. I can also let you know what year your piano was made!
