This is a tough review for me. Mostly because the job they did was good, they showed up on time, and it was a very nice improvement to the 'feel' of the home. Overall I can't fault them when considering the raw workmanship they did, which is why I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1. The problem is with the owner. I believe he misled us on the rebate practices and amounts from our gas company. He stated the rebate was 'double' what it actually was, and I believe this statement was made to make the price of the job feel less than it actually was. The form he brought clearly stated what the gas company pays, but he crossed it off, doubled it, and said 'this is what it really is'. The problem is I called the gas company and got confirmation from several different people there, including the rebate department that this contractor wasn't being forthright with me. When I questioned him on this he became very irate, insulting, and threatened legal action if I 'said anything' about this. Seriously guy? His harsh reaction doesn't lend much comfort to the idea it may simply be a 'misunderstanding' It's a shame this is the way they conduct business as I was ready to refer them to not only area residents, but the corporations we work for. Again, the work they did was quality, and I appreciate it. But you need to be totally honest with customers if you want a successful business.

Thank you for the compliment of the quality work that we perform on each and every job that we do. Unfortunately Four seasons Insulation has NO control over the way which Consumers Energy handles it's rebate program. As I stated MANY times if you look on the Consumers Energy website it clearly states that the amount of the rebate can be changed or the entire rebate program can be terminated without notice. I'm glad that we were able to make your home much more comfortable and energy efficient!

The guy promised 50% reduction in heating/cooling bill but it reduced by only 5%.

I spoke to several contractors over the phone and had a couple of in home estimates by other insulation companies. I decided on Dwayne and his crew because the estimate he gave me was 1/3rd less than competing services for essentially the same service. He was also knowledgable and seemed to have years of experience with the types of homes in our area. They showers up on time, delivered as promised and I could not be happier with the job or price. He also gave me the appropriate rebate information. I would definitely recommend this service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are continuously updating and replacing equiptment. All of our installers work ONLY for us and have to be trained and certified by our manufacturer's of equiptment and materials.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family has been in the home improvement / building industry for 6o years. In 1978 there was a shortage of GOOD, HONEST insulation installers.

Unless you live in a brand new house your current insulation isn't up to code which is costing you a lot of extra money every month for your heating and cooling. Depending on the age of your home and the amount of your existing insulation, we can lower your monthly energy cost by as much as 60%.
