This experience could've been bad, but Mattheson made it seamless!My heat went out on a Sunday afternoon. Scheduled an appointment to have my furnace repaired. A gentleman put on some show guards and took a look, and advised me that it was one of my heating coils that went bad. He gave me en estimate to replace it, but wanted a second option. He did recommend a person come out and give me a quote on a new furnace.Rich came out and asked me a few questions like square footage, thermostat, etc. He then gave me a proposal with 4 options. He advised me of the pros and cons of each option. For me there were two options that wouldn't be compatible with my Nest Learning Thermostat Gen 4. He also compared the options with what I had currently. He was very friendly and knowledgeable as well as patient with my questions.I experienced finance issues and Rich was able to help with a plan B and was approved. He was at another customer's home after mine and was able to drop off a space heater to use until my furnace could get installed.I then had 2 professional installers (I apologize but I can't remember their names or the person who came to inspect my furnace.) come in and prepped me for what to expect while they install my new furnace. They put on show guards and immediately layed floor protectors. It took less than 4 hours to tear down and remove the old, and install the new one.After they were finished they showed me the furnace, my whole home humidifier (which already existed, but it now could be controlled by the thermostat! ) thermostat and it's features, and how to connect it with the app. They advised me next steps that Rich will take care of like the rebates for example.The whole process was stress free and well worth the wait. I highly recommend Mattheson Heating, Air, & Plumbing for all of your HVAC and plumbing needs!

Waking up at zero dark thirty to no hot water to shower with was first clue. Went down in the basement and found water on the floor leaking from our water heater. It had a 6 yr warranty, it lasted 8 without any regular maintenance such as an annual of biannual flush. Maybe could have gotten a few more, but thats on me, finding the hard way. I phoned Matheson outside of normal business hours, I was forwarded to an after hours answering service, someone did pickup, they took down my information and I got a phone call back from Mr Matheson. Depending on the state of urgency, I could have had a technician come right out, but I was able to contain the situation and have a technician come out during usual business hours. Jacob was fantastic, courteous, polite and proficient. He diagnosed and came to a root cause analysis very quick, discussed options, a new hot water was deliver within the next 30-45mins, had the old one out before the new one arrived. Installed the new one and had it tested, paid and out the door by 1030, he showed up at the house about 0815. I am thoroughly impressed with this company on all facets of expediting residential needs for services. Theyre a respectful and respectable honest business and have will have my patronage in the future.

The hvac gentleman that came out was very nice and was able to help with and explain the repair necessary quite well. I only give 4 stars because the main business is quite expensive compared to others similar businesses i have dealt with.

Jacob at Matheson arrived promptly and ready to update my house with new plumbing and water heater and filters! He did a great job and all my new plumbing pipes are cool copper pipes and dry.
