Where do I even begin… Wendy is more than a speaking coach. She’s a therapist, life coach, and mentor all in one. Working with her has been transformational. She’s helped me harness my voice, refine my delivery, and most importantly, build the confidence to speak with purpose and authenticity.

Wendy is a GREAT teacher who really encourages you to put your best foot forward. If you're ever struggling with something you don't fully understand, she'll go out of her way to prepare materials and sessions centered around it and will help you every step of the way towards overcoming your struggles. She is very patient and well-spoken so it's very easy to digest everything she tells you. She is well worth your time and I can't recommend Wendy Reiss enough!

I have been working with Wendy for a year and a half now and it’s been a wonderful experience! When I first dipped my toe into voice acting/voiceover, I was monotone, stumbling over my words, and nervous. I have zero background in acting and I’ve hired coaches in the past who expected to know the basics. It never lasted long and I questioned if hiring another was a waste of time/money. However, Wendy has been patient with me throughout my journey and saw potential I didn’t see in myself. I’m now confident with my own voice, reading documentaries, creating my own animated voices and more. If you’re looking to hire someone who will text you material at 11 pm to make sure you’re improving on your voice acting, check on you when you’re feeling unsure about the process, and someone who will maximize each session with you, it’s Wendy. She truly cares and wants you to succeed in this fun but difficult to enter industry. I wish I met Wendy when I was much younger. I’d be so much further along, but oh well. Better late than never. Thank you Wendy!

Wendy has truly helped me with my voice acting and has given me advice that will stay with me forever. The amount of detail and professionalism in every lesson that she has is incredible. Working with Wendy on publicspeaking was more than I could have asked for. I can say I was a little apprehensive at first; but after our initial consult, she just seemed to know what I needed. It really felt like divine intervention. I looked forward to our weekly meetings and walked away with something new every week.
Wendy is incredibly knowledgeable in the art of publicspeaking. She is wise and intuitive. She is a great listener and kept notes and followed up. Our meetings were very much centered on my needs so I knew she was not using some cookie cutter model. She was consistently supportive... a true coach.
Wendy is very resourceful. She introduced effective breathing techniques to me, encouraged me to understand (and use) the power of a pause and to also remember my "I Am" statements. This has continued to help me stay rooted and grounded when I feel anxious or overwhelmed. She assisted me with "mark ups" and editing scripts for public engagement, and always encouraged techniques for connecting with my audience.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate and am willing to work with a customer on their terms to make it happen with mutual consent . I expect to be paid right before the session as a courtesy to service rendered. My fees can be exchanged through cash, PayPal or Venmo. Also I do expect a 24 hour cancellation notice or I charge full rate for the last minute change.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Connecting on YOUR terms, understanding clearly what YOUR goals are and what YOUR trying to achieve not my agenda but catering to YOUR agenda and NEEDS, successfully fulfilling those expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Educated and Professionally trained in TV/ Film/ Radio at Boston University/ Emerson college, Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of TV and Radio, Film member. Worked as Lead Facilitator, writer, producer, talent on many national, regional, local commercials and industrial films, strong communicator with live performance Public Speaking, Coaching and Training. Have many references and strong reviews that document my success in this work.
