Introduction

Hello my name is Robert Luteran, I have been playing Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Piano for over 25 years and I have also been teaching for 15 years. I have a bachelors degree in music Composition/ Theory with a primary in Jazz Guitar and a Secondary in Piano. Over my 15 or so years teaching I have kept a clientele of approximately 25-55 students of all ages. I am very personable and work well with any age group. I'm a fun laid back person that works well with kids. My lessons will be geared toward reading music, Chords, Scales, Theory, Ear Training, Etc. For certain songs/exercises I have the ability to record parts that can be played to like using a backing track. This can greatly help with timing and Rhythm. So if we were working on a certain song I could record the song and subtract the part the student would be playing. I take the approach of trying to push students but playing an instrument should always be fun!!! If you'd like more information please feel free to ask!

Rob is truly one of the most professional and proficient musicians, that I've ever known. I'm speaking from direct experience, as we work together as instructors, at a very reputable music studio. I'm also in a local band with Rob, and know him to be very punctual, and competent; with a music degree, a great demeanor, and many years of teaching experience. I have always wanted to learn to play guitar. A coworker gave me Robert's name and I signed for lessons. Robert has a knack of understanding how each person approaches this learning process and guiding them through it. He is a professional and is thorough, patient and attentive. Working with Rob was an amazing experience. In my 3+ years I spent working with him, I learned everything I wanted to know about the guitar. He is very dedicated to his work, as exemplified by his continued zoom lessons even after the COVID-19 pandemic closed classrooms.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will be flexible when it comes to who's traveling to whos location and how far the commute is.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always encourage reading music, Theory, Scales, Improvisation, Rhythm, Etc. We will also learn Tablature so that we can learn songs quickly.Playing music should also be fun so I try to make it as fun as possible while always challenging my students.

I've spent my life in Music. I have a Bachelors in Music Composition with a focus on Jazz Guitar and a secondary in Piano. I have bee in many projects and bands ranging all different styles.
