Our experience with Bouren Development was absolutely perfect. Bouren's tiler was amazing and we were so so so pleasantly surprised that there was little to no mess, and everything turned out flawless. I am SO glad we went with Bouren Development and they can definitely count on us for further remodels (probably sooner rather than later). I think I am actually going to miss coming home and seeing their tiler. He was always such a delight to talk to, and I really enjoyed working with Tracy for the design. Nick and I are just so happy with how everything progressed, and turned out. Thanks again!

The overall experience was good. One thing that caused little discomfort was additional cost $540.0 for removal of 3000 sq.ft for 3 extra layers of shingles at $18/100 sq. ft. Neither I knew that the roof had extra layers nor I was made aware of the pricing for removal of extra layers. This was kind of a sudden and substantial increase of the repair cost. After discussion, I was given a break of $100.0 and I ended up paying $440.0 instead for extra work.

Hi Nasir, Thank you for the feedback. I strive to ensure my clients understand we quote based on what we see initially and it is difficult to foresee all circumstances until we begin work. We did not expect to see an additional 3 layers as it is so highly unusual. In your quote, we stated removal would be for 1 layer and any unforeseen issues would be addressed upon discovery. The moment we discovered the additional amount we brought it to your attention before furthering work. I am so sorry for the additional cost to you. It is my intention to provide quality work at a fair price and ensure a satisfied client. Unfortunately, there are times there are hidden or unknown contingencies found and I am deeply sorry your home was an example.~Tracy

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with each client based on their individual needs. I set an appointment to see their space and determine their taste, review their ideas and offer a few of my own. Upon our agreement for the design/direction of their project, I provide the most accurate estimate possible. I then follow up with a call to discuss any questions. Communication is key for me with my clients.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask your potential contractor for references that pertain to your project. I provide both previous and current referrals for projects I work on. Every project has its challenges. It's how they're responded to by your contractor that shapes the outcome.
