The service while she was here was good — she was kind, worked hard, and did a nice job on the areas she completed. This was a deep clean with organizing add-ons, so it was pricey, but I didn’t mind paying because I needed my home reset. She charges a flat rate (not hourly) and even mentioned while here that she prefers it because she knows she works faster and makes more this way. I paid her in full with confirmation she would return to finish the fridge and closet. We first connected on Thumbtack, and I explained that I would need some add-ons like fridge cleaning and organizing, particularly in our living room and daughter’s room (with toys and clothes being a big issue). She gave me a flat-rate quote without needing a FaceTime walk-through, and when she arrived we did a full walk-through together. She did not mention that any of the spaces couldn’t be done and said everything looked fine to proceed and was included in the quote. During the cleaning she said she didn’t want to be there all day and suggested finishing the top of the closet next month if I signed up for monthly services. I joked that it’s sometimes easier when my husband isn’t home and told her I wasn’t sure about committing to a monthly plan. After that, I asked if she would come back the following week to finish the fridge and closet — and I confirmed that with her before paying as she left. She told me she would text me as soon as she got home. Unfortunately never got that. The next day I texted to follow up about scheduling that return and also pointed out a cabinet and ottoman (which we had talked about during the walkthrough) that had not been done. Instead of honoring what she had agreed to, she later said it was too much work, told me how many hours she spent (6.5), and that she wouldn’t be coming back — even though she charges a flat rate and had already been paid in full. After that, she stopped responding. Some of the deep cleaning also felt rushed, with dust left behind doors on the bottom boards — as I’m sure she focused on organizing. I believe mentioning the cabinet and ottoman may have made her defensive, but they were areas she agreed to during the walkthrough. Unfortunately, because I paid with Zelle, I cannot dispute the charge. Be careful — while she was kind and the work she did complete looked ok, key services I paid for (the fridge, closet) were left unfinished, and there was no follow-through after payment. I wish she was honest about not returning and did not take the payment from me for tasks she said she would come back to do.

Thank you for your feedback. I want to take a moment to clarify a few points for future clients as well. Our services are always provided at a flat rate, which is clearly listed on our profile, so there should have been no surprises regarding pricing. During our appointment, you mentioned that your husband was not aware of the services being booked and also requested that everything be completed by 5 PM. Because of the time constraints and the additional requests beyond organizing toys and clothing, not every single task could be completed within that timeframe. We also did a final walk-through together before payment, at which time you expressed satisfaction with the completed work. If there had been any concerns during that walk-through, I would have gladly addressed them on the spot. As mentioned, any additional visits or services outside of what was completed would require further scheduling and compensation. Regarding specific areas: • The ottoman could not be organized due to the volume of miscellaneous items and stuffed animals without a designated storage solution. • The fridge service provided was a clean-out, not full organization. For proper fridge organization, items need to be removed before our arrival and that service would need to be included in the initial booking. I’m sorry to hear that you felt dissatisfied afterward, but I stand by the work completed and the communication provided throughout the process. I distinctly described that I had tongue and groove wood and purlins that needed deep cleaning. She brought over a duster with an extension. I had to supply ladders. She simply pushed dust around. Deep cleaning was not done at all. While she may be able to do basic cleaning, do not hire her for deep cleaning or when you need your house presented well. She appears to think she has the capability to do more than she is able.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, it does not accurately reflect the services provided or the circumstances surrounding the appointment. For clarity, law enforcement was contacted because you refused to allow us reasonable time to retrieve our cleaning equipment from the property. Additionally, we have a recorded conversation in which you specifically asked whether we had tools tall enough to dust the wooden pillars and grooves, and we confirmed that we did. Dusting wooden surfaces is included in a deep cleaning. What you appeared to be expecting—washing or detailed wood treatment—falls under a different level of service and was never requested or discussed. The original inquiry stated you were seeking a deep clean of the home, not wall or wood detailing. It is also important to note that dust naturally becomes airborne during cleaning and can resettle temporarily; this is a normal part of the process and not an indication that the service was incomplete. Lastly, the insulting and derogatory language directed toward us was entirely unacceptable and unprofessional. We stand by the quality of our work and our communication. We sincerely hope future service providers are treated with the respect they deserve. We wish you the day you deserve.
